Seva Vanitha conducts medical camp

The Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Air Force conducted a medical camp in Gonagolla Sri Gothami Viharaya in Ampara. The medical camp, organised under instructions of the Seva Vanitha Chairperson, Neelika Abeywickrama extended a wide variety of services with the participation of physicians, gynaecologists and obstetricians, child specialists, eye surgeons, orthopedic and skin disease specialists and child specialists.

Facilities for eye tests, blood and urine tests, ECG were available for the participants.

In addition the Seva Vanitha Unit presented school bags, shoes, books, lunch boxes, water bottles, pens, pencil and other required stationery to over 550 children of Himadurawa Vidyalaya, Kahatagasyaya Vidyalaya and Mahakandiya Vidyalaya, Ampara. The total donations to schoolchildren exceeded Rs. 100,000.
