Samaratunga Cricket Academy to tour Bangalore Aug 6 to 12

CRICKET: Shehan Samaratunga Cricket Academy in Wennappuwa will make a short cricket tour to Bangalore in India from August 6 to 12.

The academy is just six months old, and the tour should no doubt give the much needed exposure for youngsters who are mainly in the 16-17 age group. Samaratunga is a former Maris Stella College player. He has obtained the ECB level two certificate and also the Higher Education In Coaching Cricket from the Metripolitan University in England. Samaratunga is presently coaching the Sussex College International school in Wennappuwa.

The Shehan Samaratunga CA will play four 25 over matches in Bangalore and one in Chennai.
