Orient Insurance ventures into Sri Lanka
Orient Insurance will be a leading player in the general insurance
sector in Sri Lanka providing customer centric solutions said Orient
Insurance Ltd., Chief Executive Deepthi Lokuarachchi.
He said that Orient Insurance is well poised to be a strong player
and that is why the Al-Futtaim Group has invested in Sri Lanka.
We hope to launch operations in the North and the East shortly and

Orient Insurance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Arab Orient Insurance
PSC was launched. Licensed by the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka, Orient
Insurance will function in the general insurance sector with insurance
classes of motor, marine, property, liability, medical and all other
classes coming within the general insurance classification. Drawing from
the strengths of Arab Orient Insurance, the holder of the coveted title
UAE Insurer of the Year 2012 (Awarded by the MENA Insurance Review),
Orient Insurance would offer their clients personalised service at an
affordable cost.

company has identified Sri Lanka with immense growth potential.
