Meeting to discuss LLRC report soon

A meeting to discuss the views of UPFA Constitutional party leaders on the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC) report will be held soon, said Senior Minister of Scientific Affairs and LSSP leader Prof. Tissa Vitharana.

The Minister said that his party's views on the LLRC report will be conveyed tomorrow to President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

All UPFA Constituent parties were last week called upon to express their views on the LLRC report. Prof. Vitharana said that they had asked the President to implement the LLRC recommendations fully since they are salutary to national unity and reconciliation.

The LLRC report has been formulated with a sense of responsibility.
