Houses for differently abled

Moves are under way to construct 100 houses for differently abled
persons, Social Services Ministry sources said. Minister Felix Perera
inaugurated a project in this regard by laying the foundation stone for
a house at Gowakotuwa in the Maspotha Divisional Secretariat Division in
the Kurunegala District, the sources said.
Under this project 80 houses will be constructed, each at a cost of
Rs. 200,000 and 20 houses, each at a cost of Rs. 150,000. The Ministry
hopes to complete this project before the end of July, according to
sources.
Differently abled persons applying for houses should possess land
plots.
