Girls High School Kandy (Junior) Sports Meet

Sports Meet... The Sports Meet of the junior section of Girls High School, Kandy was held recently at the Bogambara Stadium with Mrs Arosha Perera - Career Guidance Counsellor and Former Director of Physical Education at University of Peradeniya as chief guest. The guest of honour was Mrs. Nandika Gamage Dehipitiya - Chartered Architect.


The top three... The leading runners in the 100 metres for grade 5 race Junior Girls of Girls High School, Kandy. No. 35 Nethmini Kotakadeniya was first with No. 36 Ruvini Wijenayake who came second and No. 34 Miyani Vidanagama came in third. Pictures by Upananda Jayasundera - Kandy Sports Special Corr.


50 Metres for grade III - the winner Umasha Wijenayake (No. 5), Vishmi Dissanayake (No. 6) came second and Sandunika Ratnayake (No. 4) came third.
