Bartleet Finance extends goodwill to School for the Deaf and Blind

Bartleet Finance recently looked into the needs of inmates of the School for the Deaf and Blind in Ratmalana. A program of events under the title, "Doing more than our minimum for society", enabled differently-abled children to enjoy themselves. Managing Director and CEO, Eraj Wijesinghe, Ms Wijesinghe, management, staff and stakeholders assisted in the endeavour..

Prior to the fun events day, a day was spent in a clean-up of the premises and surroundings in addition to repairs and painting of classrooms.

It included cricket matches between staff and children, elephant rides, face painting, bouncers, races, drawing competitions, music and dancing.

The head of the organising committee Sanjeewa Seneviratne said, "It was a concerted effort by the management and staff. Special appreciation was due to business partners who contributed in cash and kind, notwithstanding the provision of manpower and supply of equipment by our advertising partners, which was used for the clean-up operation and repairs,"
