Tennekoon appointed Police Commission Secretary

T. M. K. B. Tennekoon has been appointed Secretary of the National Police Commission with effect from April 23. He is a senior Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service. He served as an Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Technology and Research before this appointment.

He has also served as the Director of the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration and has held several other top ranking posts in numerous public institutions. Tennekoon is an Honours Graduate in Public Finance of the University of Colombo and an MSc holder in Economics of the University of New England, Australia.
