Thomians edge out Cambrians

St. Thomas College, Mount Lavinia beat Prince of Wales' College by two runs in their inter-school Under-17 Division one tournament cricket match organised by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association and played at Moratuwa.Thomians taking the first lease were all out for 88 runs with Devaka Dabare claiming 4 for 5 runs.

In reply Cambrians fell short by two runs with Aktar Carder and Ravindu Thilakarathne capturing 4 for 13 and 4 for 14 runs respectively.

St. Thomas: 88 - Thilksha Sumanasiri 25, Devaka Dabare 4/5, Satchith Pushpakumara 2/11, Jayanga Peiris 2/8, Thilan Nimesh 2/13.

Prince of Wales: 86 - Kusal Mendis 23, Jayanga Peiris 29, Aktar Carder 4/13, Ravindu Thilakarathne 4/14.
