Electronic white boards from Softlogic

Panasonic Systems Asia Pacific, introduced two new interactive
electronic white boards to the Sri Lankan market through its local
partner Softlogic.
"The new interactive models are designed to suit Sri Lanka's
education market. The UB-T580 is a high-technology education tool that
allows teachers to get the students' attention simply connecting a PC
and a projector, a spokesman for the company said.
Deputy Managing Director of Panasonic Systems Asia, Wilfred Wee said
that the new models will entice Sri Lanka's budget-conscious education
market.
"As these revolutionary boards become more affordable, schools are
likely to move away from the traditional whiteboard and embrace new
technology solutions like ours," he said. Executive Director Softlogic
Holdings PLC, Suraj Fernando said, "We are happy to join synergies with
an international top-end brand such as Panasonic, to herald a new
dimension to the knowledge and training providers in the country and the
business sector who are powered and energised by office automation in
their day-to-day office work.
The introduction of these new interactive electronic whiteboards will

Along with the interactive whiteboards, it also introduced two new
models, UB-5335 and UB-5835 today," he said."Besides its stylish look,
the new models are also equipped with useful features such as direct USB
memory where users can save the information on the board directly onto
the USB flash memory.
It also comes with software that does an overlay function. This means
that the software can merge the image from the projector and the
handwritten notes," Fernando said.
