De Mazenod in first innings win

De Mazenod College, Kandana has to be satisfied with a first innings win over Lumbini Vidyalaya, Colombo in their under 19 Inter School Tournament Cricket match played at Kandana.

Taking the first lease Lumbini made 168 runs and in reply homesters made 175 runs with Jude Fernando scoring 57 runs. Vasana Madushanka took 5 for 36 for the visitors.

In their second essay Lumbini batted until the close and they were 162 for 9 with Sajith Sankalana scoring 36 runs.
