Man outsources work to China to watch cat videos
“Bob” is an unassuming, fortyish software
developer with a big secret: He really likes cat videos.But Bob had
a problem: He has to work, and there are basically zero jobs out
there where you could look at cat videos all day and get paid for
it. So Bob hatched a plan: Aiming to get the best of both worlds,
Bob outsourced his work to a Chinese developer. The plan was simple,
brilliant, and completely water-tight: Not only was Bob able to do
whatever he wanted while at “work” (like read Reddit and surf eBay),
but he also made hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process.
What could possibly go wrong.

Syria massacre evidence found to support reports, says BBC

The BBC has found evidence to support reports
from Syria of a massacre this week in which at least 100 people were
killed and burned in their homes.A team visited the village of
Haswiya, on the edge of the central city of Homs, and saw charred
bodies still lying inside one of the houses.
