‘Papedi’, a bicycle journey for climate justice

The Eco Friendly Volunteers (Eco-V) have organised a bicycle journey to raise awareness on the Climate Crisis at grass roots levels. This is the second journey of this kind and the first one was with 21 youth along Kelani River in the year 2011.

‘Papedi’ will be a 10-day travel on bicycles from Anuradhapura to Colombo with 25 youth representing all the nine provinces. Free training on global environmental crisis, environmental conservation, and leadership skills will be given prior to the departure.

If you are between 18-28 who can ride bicycles, have special interest in environmental conservation and ready for taking actions on climate change issues, apply with your CV before February 5, 2013: Eco Friendly Volunteers (ECO-V), 42/3/I Nadee Uayana, Gangarama Road, Boralesgamuwa.
