Peterites bounce back

St. Peter's College, Bambalapitiya bounced back after conceding a
first innings win of 46 runs to Prince of Wales College in their
Inter-School Under-19 cricket match played at BoI, Katunayake.
Continuing at 117 for 2 Cambrians declared at 232 for 8 with Shanuka
Dulaj making the highest score of 72 runs. He had a third wicket
partnership of 92 runs with Hasitha Lanka who made 39 runs.
Dushan Hemantha and Ashen Fernando claimed 3 for 40 each
respectively. In their second essay Peterites did not make a mistake and
showed their prowess and batted until they were all out for 267
shattering Cambirians hopes. Lahiru Milan 87 and Janith Liyanage 50
associated in a stubborn third wicket partnership of 91 runs while
Dushan Hemantha made 67 runs. Jayanga Peiris had a fine spell of 5 for
79 while Devaka Dabare 2 for 77 and Thilan Nimesh 2 for 82 and at
stumps. Cambrians were 19 for one.
