St. Bridget's excels at A/L exam

Twenty-two students of St. Bridget's Convent, Colombo, have achieved 3'A's at the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination held in August 2012, of whom twenty were from the Commerce Stream, one from the Arts Stream and one from the Science Stream. A total of 161 students sat the examination of which 120 are eligible for University Admission.

Another creditable achievement was in the London (A/Level) Section - June 2012, where a student was awarded the World Prize for Accounting.

The School has made steady progress under the guidance of the Principal, Rev. Sr. Shermila Jayawardena, and this year's achievements in the academic field have certainly been a record for St. Bridget's. She attributed this success to the hard work and dedication of both teachers and students.
