Sheran Fernando presents the Land Rover sponsorship to Ajai Vir Singh

The Range Rover Evoque which won the World Design Car of the Year, and the 13MY Freelander 2 will be among the ‘models’ on display at the annual Colombo Fashion Week.

“The Range Rover Evoque is the fashion icon of the brand and it is the most awarded vehicle to date. Frontier Automotive are excited at the opportunity of showcasing both the Evoque and the 13MY Freelander 2 at ColomboFashion week,” said CEO Sheran Fernando, presenting the sponsorship cheque to President, Colombo Fashion Week, Ajai Vir Singh.

“Colombo Fashion Week has always maintained that its sole purpose is to create opportunities for local designers and to be the platform for brands that are synonymous with Fashion. Hence Land Rover is an obvious partner,” said Singh.

Land Rover, in a first for the Industry brought international designer Victoria Beckham in to design the luxurious interior of the Range Rover Evoque. Victoria Beckham went on to design a special edition Evoque and now along with Zara Phillips is a Brand Ambassador for this vehicle.
