Jaleel maintians top berth in Platinum Division

Minhad Jaleel of Thurstan College maintained his top position polling (15,397) votes and Sebastianite Anusha Perera took the number two slot with (14,877) votes pushing Royal’s Milan Abeysekera into the third position (14,399) in the ‘Platinum Segment’ for schools playing in the SLSCA Division I Tournament at the end of the 9th week count in the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year 2013 competition.

There were no changes in the Silver Segment for schools playing in Division II with Yamal Siriwardena (St. John’s, Nugegoda) occupying the top spot with 12,004 votes and Sakunda de Silva of Sri Devananda College, Ambalangoda at second place with 11,316 votes.

There was a change in the Division III for teams in the Silver segment as Loyala College Negombo’s Trishan Rodrigo (11,203) took the top position and ousted Sahan Dharmakeerthie (10,996) of Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte to the second place.
