The 4th Golden Battle of Ruhuna between Vijitha Central College
Dickwella and Rajapaksa Central College Weeraketiya will be played at
the Uyanwatte Stadium, Matara on March 26 and 27.
Rajapaksa Central has the advantage of playing in the schools under
19 division three tournament this season and has the use of the practice
nets at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket grounds in
Sooriyawewa while Vijitha Central failed to enter a team for the
tournament a decision they may well regret.
This match between Vijitha Central and Rajapaksa Central will be
played on the square where the match between St. Servatius College and
St. Thomas' College ends today and it is bound to tell on the outcome of
the effects.
The previous three encounters between Vijitha Central and Rajapaksa
Central were drawn.
Vijitha Central's Ishan Dilruksha's 101 not out stands as the highest
individual score by a batsman while Rajapaksa Central's
Charith Sawaththara's six-wicket haul in the third encounter played

right-hand batsman and a right -arm off-spin bowler.
The vice-captain of the team is Uditha Widanapathirana who is known
for is medium-fast bowling.
