People's Bank rewards July Jaya Sri winner

People's Bank recently presented a new Suzuki Alto car to the winner of the Jaya Sri draw 2013 for July.

The winner H. Piyadasa of Deniyaya said, "I opened my People's Bank account in 1975. Since then I have been a regular customer. I work as a tea plucker. Whatever amount I could save after daily expenses, and my EPF savings, were deposited in the People's Bank account."

"Today this savings account has won me a new vehicle. I recommend that everyone begins to save at People's Bank and become a winner at the Jaya Sri draw," he said.

Monthly draws will be held throughout the year for Jaya Sri 2013 which will end with a grand draw in December. At the monthly draw, a Suzuki Alto Car, 24 cash prizes of Rs. 100,000 and 690 cash prizes of Rs. 10,000 can be won.

To qualify for the monthly draw of Jaya Sri 2013, customers should maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000 a month in any of the People's Bank's savings accounts while maintaining a minimum balance of Rs. 50,000 throughout the year (including December) will provide customers an opportunity to enter the year end grand draw.

Every savings or current account holder except for minor accounts or NRFC accounts qualify for this draw. At the year end grand draw, two luxury houses each worth Rs. 10 million could be won.
