Fascinating Kyoto

Kyoto is actually a city rich in history and modernisation. We ended our day at a tiny Japanese restaurant enjoying a Japanese meal of fish, vegetables and sticky rice and on the way back to the hotel we savoured the green tea mocha cake which we found only in Kyoto.

Sometimes, there are philosophical sayings. Today, we discuss a stanza in Therigatha uttered by the Buddha. Out of compassion, the Buddha appeared before Bhikkhuni Mutta. She belonged to the category of Bhikkhunis who attained Arahathood, after receiving advice from the Buddha's vision called Obhasa Dhara.
