Dear children,
Galboda is an isolated village between Nawalapitiya and Watawala,
situated along the Colombo-Badulla railway line. Since there is no well
developed road system yet, the railway is the only mode of
transportation for villagers and travellers. Galboda is important to
travellers for two reasons. One is the famous Galboda waterfall, the
other is the natural water spring found in the backyard of the Galboda
railway station. It is known as the source of potable water having the
highest specific gravity in South Asia and also the tastiest water in
South Asia.
Bye,
Till next week ,
