Chiranthana Sinhala Kaviya

Chiranthana Sinhala Kaviya, a criticism of classical poetry and Ummadanthi written by Kalpa Eranda will be launched on August 31 at 2 p.m. at the Rev. Don Peter Auditorium, Aquinas University College.

Ummadanthi is a poetic adaptation of the Jathaka story Ummadanthi. It is the fourth poetry book written by the author. The two books are published by Godage Book Publishing House.

The Islanders

Uditha Devapriya's second novel The Islanders will be launched at the Mahaweli Centre on September 1 at 3.30 p.m. The chief guest will be Prof. Carlo Fonseka and the guest of honour Dr. Samitha Samanmali.

Ranga Mandala

Dr Nimal Sedera's latest Sinhala novel Ranga Mandala will be launched at the National Library and Documentation Services Board auditorium, Colombo 7 on August 31 at 9.30 a.m.

The ceremony will be presided over by Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekera. Kalakeerthi Edwin Ariyadasa, Deepal Sooriyarachchi, Anula de Silva, Nimal Edirisinghe and Dr. Upali Sedera will address the audience.
