Mulleriyawa hospital now a Base Hospital

The Mulleriyawa hospital has been renamed the Colombo East Base Hospital, Mulleriyawa.

According to its Director, Dr. Ajith Danthanarayana, congestion at the Colombo National Hospital would ease with the upgrading of Mulleriyawa Hospital, which is equipped with the State-of-the-art equipment.

An accident service unit too is billed to be opened next year.
