Superb knock of 167 by Kasun

A splendid unbeaten knock of 167 runs by Kasun Abeyratne which consisted twenty five fours and two sixes and occupying the crease for 190 minutes and facing 140 balls and another unbeaten solid 113 runs by Imesh Niranga which included twelve fours and five sixes and facing 95 balls and occupying the crease for 130 minutes and associating an unbroken 252 runs partnership helped Thurstan College to beat Nalanda Vidyalaya by 85 runs in their Inter-School Under-15 Division One second round cricket match played at Colombo.

In reply to Thurstanites big score of 321 for 3 declared Nalandians were all out for 236 runs with Danuka Bimsara making the top score of 59 runs.

Thurstan College: 321 fro 3 (Kasun Abeyratne 167 not out, Imesh Niranga 113 not out).

Nalanda College: 236 (Danuka Bimsara 59, Thilanka Amerasinghe 28, Sahanga Wijewardene 32, Nipun Lakshan 3 for 47, Eranga Jayasinghe 2 for 57).
