Exhibition on Lanka, Germany ties

Children, mainly from schools in remote areas, have brought to the canvas their own ideas on the 60 years of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Germany. These works of art will be on display at an exhibition to be held from October 29 to 31 at the German Cultural Institute, Colombo 7.

Organised by Helga Schafheutle, President of the German-Sri Lanka Friendship Society, the exhibition aims to foster friendship between children of the two countries from a young age. The children are between the ages of 12 and 15.
