Overseas training for 10 doctors

Ministry of Health has decided to send 10 specialist doctors to Thailand for a special training on effective treatment strategies on Dengue.

These specialist doctors are sent abroad as per a decision of Health Minister Maithripala Sirisena.

Doctors who treated Dengue patients with dedication islandwide are selected for this overseas training as their future services too would be of great importance to the effective management activities of the Ministry of Health, said DR. A.M. Priyadarshana, the Asst. D.M.O. Of Kurunegala.
