Caltex supports AIDS Foundation

The HIV and AIDS poster competition organised by the AIDS Foundation of Lanka (AFL) to increase public awareness and vigilance regarding HIV and AIDS will be supported by Chevron Lubricants Lanka.

Around 40 posters will be selected as prize winners in the children, youth and adult categories. Every winning poster will be used to educate the public about HIV and AIDs and its implications, including issues related to stigma and discrimination. The AIDS Foundation of Lanka was inaugurated in November 2008, with a Board of Management consisting of several eminent persons with experience in local and international organisations.

The Foundation promotes comprehensive care of people living with and affected by HIV and supports preventive programs.
