Love-Slave left high and dry
Saa-jeet, the Love-Slave had to eat humble pie eventually after his
mentor Ka-roo Victory-Sun embraced Ra-Blue. Although Love-Slave felt
that Ka-Roo would step down from the chairmanship of the Green's council
that is leadership, Ka-Roo refrained from doing so. Ra-Blue played the
right card to woo Ka-Roo's support, thus isolating Love-Slave who is now
going from pillar to post.
Ra-Blue takes wing
Ba-Blue has embarked on yet another overseas tour after surviving the
latest leadership crisis in the Elephant Party. He did a similar tour
after extending his term as Green leader for six years over a year ago.
He not only checkmated Love-Slave but also elevated his nephew Gem Wije
to the Green council that is leadership. This could well be the stepping
stone for Gem Wije who is being groomed to become the Green leader.
Big Lady in talks
The Retired Big Lady has apparently given up her usual four glasses
of whiskey and is holding more meetings with the UNP Reformists. She
plans to contest the next Prez polls as an independent candidate with
the support of disgruntled Green leaders such as Love-Slave. She has
also sent a signal to Fonny but he has refused to support the lady as
Fonny doesn't mind losing another Prez election.
Bell Boys divided
Soom-me, the One-sa's decision not to attend the opening of the
Cho-Gum has been severely criticised by two senior Bell Boys. When the
matter was taken up at the politburo meeting, Lull-Kanth said that this
was an opportunity to take their message to the world and not in
settling scores with the governing types. |
