Tissa Central in 62 run win

Tissa Central College Kalutara beat more fancied Sri Sumangala College Panadura by 62 runs on first innings in their inter school under 19 cricket match worked off at Panadura.

Tissa Central batting first scored 254 runs with Dimuthu Madushanka scoring 52 runs while Sevinda Thulakshan had a fine spell of 6 for 90 and in reply Sumangalians were all out for 197 runs with Harith Lakshan making the top score of 68 runs and Milindu Sampath claimed 5 for 61 and at stumps visitors were 138 for 7 with Lahiriu Vimukthi Capturing 5 for 62.
