Old Thurstanites clinch Division Three title

Old Thurstanites 'A' won the All Island Diviwsion three cricket title and earned a promotion to Division two of Sri Lanka cricket when they beat Seenigama Cricket grounds, Maggona.

Batting first Old Thurstanites scored 288 for 7 in their alloted fifty overs with Milhaj Jaleel making the top score of 79 runs while Charana Nanayakkara was unbeaten on 48.

In reply Seenigama Cricket were 180 for 6 in 50 overs with Layan Eranga scoring 75 runs while Ramesh Tudor contributed 44 runs.
