Fayad Faris wins NK1 category at Pro-Kart Competition

Fayad Faris won the NK1 category at the Pro-Kart Competition held at the Karting Circuit at Bandaragama recently. The championship was organised by the Ceylon Motor Sports Club and UE Sports.

The event was open to all young, amateur and professional racing drivers. Fayad gave a fine display, winning the NK1 category. Kevin Perera and Chanika de Silva won the second and third places respectively.

In the NK 2 category, Ayesh Bandara won first place while Charith Gunawardene and Isuru Senarathen were placed second and third.

In the NK 3 category, Janidhu Seneviratne was placed first while Ranil Silva and Jagath Maharage were the first and second runners-up.
