Over 50 different jobs in a year!

Matt Frost, from Liskeard, Cornwall, UK can be called a marathon job seeker and as up to now he had done 52 different jobs in a year. His jobs- merry-go-round started when a box fell on his head at a store in 2012. During two months off, he arranged one-week work experience slots and quit the electronics firm, donating his salary to a trust.

Jobsworth: Matt Frost

Matt, 30, said: "I'm more tired than I've ever been before in my life but I've had the most amazing experience and I've met some incredible people."

His work experience marathon included being a stuntman, radio host, surfing instructor and personal assistant to This Morning TV star Phillip Schofield. He said: "I turned 30 this year and the accident gave me a window to think about trying out a range of different jobs.

"When I was working in retail I enjoyed the job but the injury woke me up to the fact that maybe the job wasn't really what I wanted to be doing with my life." Matt rated a special needs school his most rewarding job, saying: "It was a very demanding job but by the end of the week I didn't want to leave.

"I was amazed by the pure positivity of the school - it was amazing to see all these adults giving everything they could to get the children to be as independent as possible." His most challenging week was spent working as a waiter at Bistro Pier in Plymouth.

Matt said: "I was really shocked at how difficult it was.

I have so much respect for people that work in catering as it's really challenging.

"I cut myself many times and during my last ten minutes in the job I managed to pour a glass of wine into a lady's handbag." Despite offers, Matt, from Liskeard, Cornwall, still has not decided his future. He is "having a week off" to think. Here is a full list of the professions Matt tried out:

Officers save young boy's Christmas dream

Greenwich PCs James Barningham and Carly Wilton were called to the family home in Eltham, London, on Christmas Eve to reports of a burglary.

Fixing Christmas: The police officers that saved the day

It was burglary that devastated the Christmas dream of a small kid. The burglars had taken away all the presents. But the police officers did not want to disappoint the kid's dream they rescued his Christmas dream.

The police officers organised a special fund that included their recent £30 lottery win.

And miraculously, a Lego set which had been stolen was retrieved from a vendor in Dartford that same day.

The online seller offered to donate it for free and even wrapped it up when he heard the news.

The kind-hearted officers returned to the house on Christmas Day with £120 and the lego set.

Sergeant Danny Ord, from Greenwich Response Team C, said: "We are parents too and couldn't bear the thought that this family's Christmas was going to be ruined by callous burglars.

"I didn't have a chance to spend Christmas with my two daughters as I was working, but the thought that our efforts helped another family and their young son made our shift worthwhile." It wasn't the only incident this year, a mum-of-four was forced to work two jobs and extra shifts to replace stolen presents she had bought for her children earlier this month.

Guitar battle: 11-year-old vs rock band Steel Panther

Aiden Fisher is only 11-years-old but he proved age isn't an issue when you want to be a rock star and his gob-smacking guitar skills made him a mini celebrity.

This is the moment this kid performed a flawless guitar solo on stage with Steel Panther - proving age really isn't an issue.

Aidan Fisher joined the heavy metal band at the Kansas City's Midland Theatre in Missouri, US, and blew the crowd away with his musical talent.

The two lead singers looked more than a little impressed by their new recruit, and even sung along to classic You Really Got Me before letting Aidan take the lead again.

The shy youngster remained in his seat throughout, concentrating on getting his moment of glory spot on.

The cameraman turned around on the spot near the end to show a packed theatre going crazy and applauding for Aidan.

Steel Panther guitarist Satchel, one of the most talented shredders in heavy metal must have figured that his days are numbered when 11-year-old Aidan showed off his talent with his Steel Panthers group.
