CR and FC in 24-12 win over Hambantota Sharks

The Ceylonese Rugby and Football Club scored a hard fought 24 points (one goal, one try four penalties) to 12 (one goal, one try) win over Hambantota Sharks in their Dialog 'A' Division League rugby match played at Beliatta Stadium yesterday after leading 9-7 at the 'breather'.

Prof forward Dimitri Wijetunge (one) and Number Eight Nissan Aitui (one) scored the tries for CR and FC. Fly half Rimzi Jamaldeen who had a grand game converted one try and fired across four penalties which gave him a personal tally of 14 points.

Lock forward Niroj Gunasinghe (one) and Fijian centre Saialaga Asanasaza (one) scored the tries for Hambantota Sharks with Saialaga converting one try.
