Next Sourcing honours long-standing employees

next Sourcing, a wholly owned subsidiary of next Plc, UK, the retail clothing and accessory giant feted long- standing employees in Sri Lanka recently.

The Long Service Awards 2014 ceremony was held at the Hilton.

The management including, Regional Director for next Sourcing South Asia, Chanaka Perera, General Manager - next Sourcing, Wilhelm Elias, Technical Director - next Sourcing, Hugh McConnell and next staff were present.

Regional Director Chanaka Perera said, "We have witnessed a respectable growth over the 20-year operation of our organisation, and I thank every team member for the commitment and dedication bestowed towards this organisation over the years. A big strength has been the ability to adapt to change".

General Manager Wilhelm Elias, "The Sri Lanka office has had yet another successful year having achieved 11% growth last year.

Our product and merchandise and technical teams have achieved this with significant growth seen on new borns and women's wear and I applaud all the teams and suppliers for having achieved this in tough market conditions.
