Seylan offers loans for education
The 'EDEX-Expo 2014' was held recently at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike
Memorial Exhibition Centre and attracted over 30,000 visitors.

It provided an ideal platform for Seylan Bank to promote the 'Seylan
Scholar' education loan scheme to help finance higher education.
The 'Seylan Scholar' loan was offered at 14% interest exclusively for
registration at the exhibition.
It is a fast, easy to obtain loan that can be applied for, by
students, young working professionals and parents of students.
At the Seylan stall, dedicated staff had one-on-one interactions with
students and parents.
A loan up to Rs. 10 million is available for customers who wish to
obtain a professional qualification such as MBA, SLIM, CIM, AAT, ACCA
and CIMA.
A Seylan Scholar is also applicable to students who intend to follow
Fashion, Interior and Graphic design degree courses. A raffle draw was
also held. Visitors who filled the coupons had to 'like' the Official
Seylan Bank Facebook page to be eligible for the draw.
Seylan Bank has 118 branches, 31 convenience centres and 158 ATMs
islandwide.
