No bus service for students

The CTB school bus service in the Matale district is completely unsatisfactory while the private bus services are not operated in accordance with the rules introduced by the government.

Three wheelers are being used for this purpose and some three wheelers are loading nearly 10 children in each vehicle causing severe discomfort to the students. Parents say that they have no other way to send their children to schools.

Therefore they depend on private bus services inspite of difficulties. They appeal to the government to take actions to rectify for the benefit of the children.
