Mohan Lal Grero, new Ratmalana SLFP co-organiser

Deputy Minister Mohan Lal Grero has been appointed as the Ratmalana SLFP co-organiser

President Mahinda Rajapaksa recently appointed Mohan Lal Grero, Deputy Minister of Education as the joint organiser for the Ratmalana electorate.

A distinguished old boy of Royal and Ananda Colleges, Colombo, he obtained a Honours Degree in Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. Grero is a writer, an environmentalist and a visionary of many fields and holds a private pilot's license.Having entered active politics in 2004 on the invitation of the United National Party Grero contested the Western Provincial Council with success.

Grero crossed over to the ruling party in 2011 and was appointed as the monitoring MP of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development.
