Biz delegation to visit Oman

Chamber officials brief the delegation.

A group of Sri Lankan businessmen were due to leave for Oman today on a four-day visit to explore investment opportunities.

The visit organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is backed by the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development of Oman, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sri Lankan Embassy in Oman.

The mission to Oman, consists of representatives from sectors such as travel and tourism, pharmaceuticals, fruit and vegetables, IT and software and construction.

The delegation will take part in the Sri Lanka-Oman Business Forum, hold B2B meetings and follow-up meetings with their counterparts and also visit Rusaiyl Industrial Zone.

Marketing Director, Astron Limited, Sirimal Fernando heads the delegation. The visit has been organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
