2015 youth:
Platform to exchange ideas and discuss common agenda
Arrangements have been finalised to host the 15th
World Conference on Youth from May 6 to 9. The inaugural ceremony
will be held under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at
Magampura Mahinda Rajapaksa International Convention Centre. This
event will elevate us in the international arena, National Youth

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday reiterated
that the government will not bow down to any pressure and is not
prepared to reverse the ongoing efforts to build the country under
any circumstances. “We will never bow down and no one can make us
bow down,”

Opposition parties will have to obey Tiger rump
Anyone who intends to have any political
alliance with the TNA or meets with the TNA for any political
purpose will have to advance the TNA agenda that has been spelt out
by the Northern Province Chief Minister. Wigneswaran at a recent
meeting of the TNA in Trincomalee had said that the party seeks as a
top priority to send the Security Forces out of the Northern
Province as “the presence of the Security Forces is a threat to the
security of the region and that of India”.
