SLCTB depots in NWP get 196 new buses

The NWP Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara has decided to give 196 new buses to the SLCTB bus depots in the NWP during next few months to improve public transport facilities in both Kurunegala and Puttalam districts of the NWP.

Six buses that were imported for the use of CHOGM were given away to 3 SLCTB bus depots in the NWP by the NWP Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara recently in Kurunegala.

The Chief Minister disclosed that a sum of 140 million rupees would be invested in improving facilities of public transport services this year.
