Plan to prevent dengue in Addalaichenai

Addalaichenai MOH, Dr: Farooza Nakfer said that there was the danger of Dengue fever spreading in the area and the people have been warned.

A press briefing meeting was held recently at the MOH office Auditorium, presided over by the Addalaichenai MOH Dr. Farooza Nakfer. PHIs and Development officers participated.

In villages such as Addalaichenai, Oluvil, Palamunai, Deegawapiya, Thaikkanager, Alamkulam, Ashraff Nagar and Rahumaniyabath the growth of the Dengue mosquito has considerably increased.

The MOH has called upon all Heads of the Departments, principals of the schools and local authorities to pay attention to eradicate Dengue Mosquitoes in their premises and also keep same clean and tidy. The Addalaichenai Pradeshiya Sabha with its MOH's office has launched a dengue prevention program in Addalaichenai DS Division.
