Police praised by women 's organisation

The women organisations in Dambulla area praised, the police on their yeoman service to eradicate the drug menace in Dambulla town limits.

They said their husbands and children were saved from this and they request the police to continue the drug eradication program.

Owing to the spread of liquor and drugs, the domestic problems in the area, were increased. But under the new situation, it has dropped sharply while all illegal activities in the area, have stopped, they said.

Then, the acting HQI of Dambulla police C.B.M.K. Wijesekara, told the police are dedicated to maintain law and order impartially.
