Victim and Witness Protection Bill, a boon to litigants

National Languages and Social Integration Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara said the Government has done a great service to the victims and witnesses following the introduction of the Victim and Witness Protection Bill. Generally witnesses don’t come forward unless they are protected.

Regaining the UNP’s deputy leadership seems to be the goal, so near but yet so far for Hambantota district parliamentarian Sajith Premadasa. National Languages and Social Integration Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara said during the last ten years, the Government had done lmuch more than what had been done in 25 years to develop roads and other infrastructure facilities in the Uva Province particularly in difficult villages and in hard terrain.
