The Sri Lanka Shopping Festival (SLASH Festival) was launched in
The two-week SLASH festival offers discounts and value-driven
shopping, entertainment, dining, culture and fashion, to be conducted in
key locations in cities across the country, including Colombo, during
the run-up to the Avurudhu season.
Organised by Foxhouze, this festival will feature a large selection
of retailers.Due to be held in February 2015, Foxhouze along with its
key partners is gearing up to make SLASH an exciting, inclusive and
anticipated shopping festival in the country.
The SLASH Festival will also incorporate an element of festivity,
fun, games and competitions driven actively by online digital and social
media, radio and print, in addition to on-location activations to keep
consumer interest alive.
Some of the proposed locations will include Majestic City and Crescat
Boulevard in Colombo, Kandy City Centre in Kandy, K Zone in Ja-ela and K
Zone in Moratuwa along with Ceylon Theatres. Other proposed locations
include Independence Arcade, Race Course, Dutch Hospital, large format
retailers, other cinemas and supermarkets.
