Shuttler Anoma Ratnayaka excels in Seoul tournament

The third annual Seoul National University Gwanaksa Sports
Competition in South Korea organised by the Seoul National University
Dormitory - Gwanaksa was held at the Gwanksa gymnasium from November 3-7
at Seoul National University.
The Gwanksa Badminton Tournament is part of the events in this
competition. Participants can play in six different sports: soccer,
basketball, badminton, table tennis, dodgeball and throw-ball.
This year the badminton tournament had only men’s and women’s doubles
category.
Final match results:
Badminton tournament women’s doubles title was won by M.K.A. Anoma
Ratnayaka (Sri Lanka) and Lisa Witter (USA) by 21-16 and 21-11.
They received a cash prize, a trophy and a certificate.
Last year Anoma dominated the first and second Annual Seoul National
University Gwanaksa Sports Competition, taking away all possible A-level
titles - the women’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles.
Last year’s women’s doubles title was won by M.K.A.Anoma Ratnayaka
and Sulochani Ramanayaka of Sri Lanka. |
