Ten teams in Mayor's Cup Rugby Sevens

Ten teams have entered for the inaugural Mayor's Cup seven-a-side Rugby Tournament jointly organised by the Playgrounds Department of Kandy Municipal Council and the Central Province Rugby Football Association today from 8 a.m. The venue is Nittawela Rugby Grounds.

Following are the teams...... Kandy Municipal Playgrounds 'A' team. Kandy Municipal Playgrounds 'B' team, Old Rajans, Old Sylvestrians, Old Vidyarthians, Old Anthonians, Rahula Old Boys, Nugawela Old boys, Sri Lanka Army 'sevens A' and Sri Lanka Army 'Sevens B'.

Winners of the Cup, and Bowl tournaments will be presented with cash prizes. Chief Guest will be Mahen Ratwatte the Mayor of Kandy.
