All Ceylon YMMA Conference congratulates President

The All Ceylon Young Men's Muslim Association Conference National President M.T. Thahasim has sent the following congratulatory message to President Maithripala Sirisena

"The All Ceylon YMMA Conference takes immense pride in congratulating Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, President, Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka on his historic and magnificent victory. Indeed it is a victory of all right-thinking people, the voiceless, oppressed and the suppressed minorities.

The all Ceylon YMMA Conference is the premier Muslim community based and youth serving organisation in Sri Lanka, coordinating a network of nearly 120 branches spread throughout the country. It is incorporated by an Act of Parliament No: 31 of 1968 and recognised as an approved charity by the Ministry of Finance.

His Excellency's historic victory is a tribute to our vision for Sri Lanka and his capacity to connect with people's yearning for change.

We, the Muslims and all Sri Lankans have great hopes on his promise of good governance and look forward to a bright and joyous era in a safe and peaceful Sri Lanka.
