NCCSL to host Lanka-Thailand bilateral talks
A seminar on 'Bilateral trade between Sri Lanka and Thailand' will be
held on February 12 from 3.00 to 4.30 p.m at the Chamber auditorium, D R
Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo-10. Ambassador of Thailand in Sri Lanka,
Nopporn Adchariya Vanich, will be the guest speaker.
He will speak on present business trends, trade potential,
opportunities for export, import, investment and other services
available in Thailand.
Sri Lanka exports mainly diamonds, precious stones, gems, wheat
flour, apparel, insulated wire, cable and insulated electric conductors,
winding wire, retreated or used pneumatic rubber tyres to Thailand.
While Sri Lanka imports fish, dried or salted smoked fish, plastic
and articles thereof, cane or beet sugar chemically pure sucrose, in
solid form and cement from Thailand. |
