HNB supports Young Members' Forum

Hatton National Bank will sponsor the Young Members' Forum of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce for one year. HNB will offer financial support for chosen activities of the YMF during the year under this agreement.

The agreement in this regard was signed at the HNB head office in Colombo, recently. Deputy Secretary General, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Alikie Perera, Deputy General Manager, Hatton National Bank, Thimal Perera, President, YMF, Mrs. Gillian Nugara, Senior Manager, Deposit Mobilisation, HNB Supun Dias and senior officials of both institutions were present.

The YMF has planned a series of activities to be implemented during the year and among them are programs on leadership training, SME training, speech craft program, sporting activities, a visit to Minneriya National Park and training on new business development.

Young Members Forum, an initiative of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce was formed to help nurture the younger generation of the country to become future leaders. It has over 220 members and most of them work in the corporate sector.
