Alokayano Easter program in Kotte

Parishioners of St.Thomas’ Church of Kotte along with Rev. Fr. Anthony Fernandopulle will stage Alokayano at the outdoor arena of St.Thomas’ College, Kotte on March 29 at 6.30 p.m. Jehan Srikantha Appuhaamy will perform the role of Jesus Christ in Alokayano while Mary Magdalene's role will be performed by Veena Jayakody.

The script is written by Ajith Mendis and Sunil Costa under the direction of Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini and make up is by Wasantha Wittachchi.

Milroy Dharmarathne will direct the music.

Ravindra Ariyarathne's Balloth Ekka Bae will be staged at the Sumedha Theatre, Gampaha today at 3.30 p.m. and 6.45 p.m.

Understanding Picasso exhibition of paintings

Wasantha Namaskara's 150th exhibition of paintings Picasso Handuna Genima (Understanding Picasso) will be held at the Wasantha Namaskara.com Gallery, Dippitigoda Road, Kelaniya on April 8 and 9.

The exhibition is held to commemorate Picasso's birthday on April 8.
